POSH is a group of businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals sponsoring FOUR of Hilo's biggest cultural events with financial and in-kind contributions in exchange for promotion and community relations benefits. People Out Supporting Hilo (POSH) strives to:

• Create an economically sustainable Downtown area
• Inspire & empower cultural awareness and appreciation of others in a free, safe, and harmonious environment
• Promote community involvement & capacity building while accentuating Hilo as the cultural hub of Hawai'i Island
